This Winch Rope Retainer is designed to be fitted when you fit your winch rope.
A simple device to give you an indication that you have pulled your rope out and safely left the required number of wraps on your drum.
This is not designed to hold any load, but to give resistance when you free-spool your rope out for a recovery.
Made from water resistant and UV resistant nylon webbing.
Available in 2 sizes - for 5 wraps or 10 wraps of rope.
Warn recommend that when using Wire Rope a minimum of 5 wraps of the rope should remain tight to the drum at all times. For Synthetic rope, they recommend a minimum of 10 wraps of rope remain tight to the drum.
